Phoenix, AZ – Locally owned cloudIT, LLC announced today that it will be donating $10,000 to Pappas Kids Schoolhouse Foundation during the month of July, 2018. cloudIT CEO & President, Vince Kent, voiced his excitement to be donating to such a worthy foundation stating, “As a parent of five children, my wife and I, feel strongly that every child deserves an opportunity to succeed and Pappas Kids offers great programs for underprivileged and homeless students in Arizona.”
Through research the foundation has observed that students who received assistance through their programs become confident to take more advanced courses, spend more time on homework, have post-secondary educational aspirations, higher GPA’s, more parental involvement, less absenteeism, better college attendance, and higher occupational aspirations. cloudIT hopes that this donation will enable Pappas Kids in continuing their mission to give underprivalged students the opportunities they deserve and “eliminating the barriers” that childhood homelessness and poverty may create.
